When we say that a garment is breathable, we are referring to the garment's ability to transport moisture, in the form of condensation, from the body to the outside of the garment. Levels of breathability between brands are not always comparable and depend on the test standard that was used. We use the American standard ASTM E-96 BW to test our products because the test conditions can be closely compared with the Swedish summer in both humidity and temperature. The breathability of a garment can be perceived differently depending on the combination of fabrics used, physical activity and weather conditions.
